A deep breath came from kenshin as he felt a sharp pain pierce his shoulder blade. He could hear Nakajou, but could not see him. There infront of him was the assassin , with a katana in the parallel sword technique most commonly used by the Shinesengumi's wolves of mibu.
Nakajou was charging towards kenshin full speed. Suddenlly he stopped only a few feet away from kenshin. An unbearable pain in his stomach caused his feet to go to a screeching hault.
Nakajou's eyes went down , to see kenshin's sword sticking from his stomach. His immediate guess was that kenshin needs no eyes to see, he was truly as powerful and dangerous as he was warned.
Nakajou backed out of the sword. The blade slid out of his body, and he felt the pain get stronger. Nakajou managed to fully turn around before falling to his knees. He crawled a few feet, then layed on his stomach. For a moment, it would appear as though he were passed out. His head then shot up, and he dug his hand into the snow, and revealed a small, thin rope. He pulled it to the right with a mutty tug.
As he did this, a small avalanche of snow came. Apparently he had activated a bomb that was planted somewhere.
Kenshin managed to stand. He stood there, with the snow rushing towards him full speed. His sword was held tightly in his hand, and his hakama was soaking wet.
"..tomoe..."
Suddenly, kenshin awoke. He was sitting in a crossed fashion. It was all a dream of the past. Kenshin opened his eyes. It had been a long time since he had dreamt of those days, and last time he did, he ran into Hajime Saitou..the one man he never defeated
I see a red door and want it painted black ------------------

A light breeze whispered through the dojo as a woman entered the tranquil setting. The soft scent of springtime filled the small building, mixed lightly with the scent of her perfume.
The dojo was welcoming but it was not home. Home, Kamiya Dojo, was where this young woman had come from.
"Good Morning!" Kaoru's melodious voice filled the room as she walked past the familiar form of Kenshin. A small smile graced her face as she looked upon the man that sat before her.
The young woman of seventeen was dressed in her usual attire, a startling cerulean kimono embroidered with small golden flowers that adored the sleeves. Her obsidian locks were tied in a neat ponytail, accompanied by a light crimson bow.
"Did you just awaken?" Kaoru called to Kenshin, for by the look of his features, Kenshin had just escaped from a trance.
"Someone the exact opposite of Inuyasha. That's the perfect guy for me."

Kenshin looked over towards Kaoru, and gave her a smile. He put both hands ontop of the handle, and pushed himself up. He stood to his feet, and make eye contact with her
"Just a bad dream..."
Kenshin walked from his current standing point, and headed for the door. He stopped infront of it, and turned to Kaoru.
"I'll be gone..just a moment..i need to get some air.."
He placed his hand on the sliding door, and slid it to the right. He stepped out into the night sky. The stars hung in the sky like a giant black sea.
Kenshin began to walk down the road.
He gave a nod of acknowledgement to all the people moving by him.

A look of puzzlement masked Kaoru's pleasent face. With a shake of her obsidian locks, she headed out after Kenshin, running as daintly as she could to catch up with him.
"Is something wrong?" Miss Kaoru called when she was close to Kenshin. It had seemed, back in the dojo, that he did not want to talk with her. Perhaps it was something she had done earlier?
Have I done something to upset him? The disappointing thought ran through her mind.
Stop! that's crazy Kaoru told herself, walking beside Kenshin, gazing up at the night sky.
"Someone the exact opposite of Inuyasha. That's the perfect guy for me."

"Hey!" Sano called as he opened the door to the teahouse, stomach growling visiously. He looked sullen as the girl shook her head.
"I've given you all I can spare Sano!" The girl said sadly, as though wishing she could give him some more food.
Sanosuke sighed, shaking his head and shrugging.
"Ah well, i'm off back to the dojo I guess...not much else to do then," he smiled at her, catching sight of Karou who looked like she was trailing someone down.
"Karou!" he yelled after her, trying to battle the crowds to get it her. It wasn't really tough considering Sanosuke was a slight bit taller than most of the common folk walking around.
"Someone the exact opposite of Inuyasha. That's the perfect guy for me."

Sano's stomach growled loudly and he couldn't help but sigh.
"Good I suppose. Kind of hungry...I was hoping that you had made something but I guess not, eh?" he laughed.
"Ey! kenshin! I didn't even notice you, you were so quiet. What's new?" he aske, "you had better not think too much there buddy...it makes you hungry." Sano grinned.

Miss Kaoru stopped and waited for Sano with a swift tapping of her foot. She kept her eye on Kenshin, however, making sure he didn't walk to far away from her.
"I don't eat that much, you pig!" Kaoru smiled, flicked a peice of her obsidian hair from her deep sapphire eyes.
"When we get back to the dojo, I promise you can have all you like to eat...but I am not going to promise that it will be good."
Miss Kaoru knew that she was not the best cook in Kyoto, but she could make simple dishes.
