Meilin loved the Park. She could go there and, though being alone, think about all the wonderful things she could be. Sometimes, she'd pretend she and Li were getting married here. She would have a beautiful, flowing white gown...And Li would be very handsome in his suit, both of them adorned with white flowers of the garden, still glistening with the morning dew.
And when she didn't ponder this idea, she'd pretend she was on the fight for the cards as well, jumping up and down from benches, skipping along the edges of fountains, and plucking flowers going," I got one! I got a clow card!"
And this always made her feel better. But today, she was just sitting...
and thinking...
and knowing...
she could never be a card captor...
or a card captor's wife.

So Meilin started crying.
